In Muzaffarnagar, Nine-Year-Old Girl Raped By Boys Aged 10 And 14: Report

Minor Girl Raped By Two Boys: A nine-year-old girl was allegedly raped by two boys aged ten and 14  in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh. The incident had taken place a few days ago but the police complaint was filed by the survivor's parents on January 5.

The incident took place when the survivor was out playing near her house. According to the complaint filed, the boys allegedly took her away and later raped her. The police have reportedly sent the girl for medical examination and further investigation on the case is underway.

On October 21, last year, a six-year-old girl was killed by three minor boys after the deceased had allegedly refused their sexual advances. The boys were allegedly porn addicts and reportedly stoned the minor girl to death. The investigators came down to the understanding that the perpetrators were porn addicts after reportedly retrieving content of that nature from the electronics that they possessed.

The girl was found dead on October 18 at Kaliabor in Nagaon, Assam. Her body was found inside a toilet in the mill. The two minor boys were aged eight and 11. In the killing of the girl, they were assisted by another 11-year-old boy. The three accused were detained and produced before a juvenile court and remanded to judicial custody.

The Superintendent of Police of Nagaon Anand Mishra tweeted about the incident and wrote, "Family/Social intervention & institutional guidance to the kids could have saved these 4 young loves. 1 lost life, 3 lost for life."

Last year in November, two minor boys were arrested by the Balongi police for allegedly raping a 15-year-old girl in the Belolpur village of Balongi in Kharar, Punjab. The two accused were aged 16 and 13 years. As per the police complaint, the survivor was staying with her sister there and both her parents worked as labourers in Uttar Pradesh.

The accused had allegedly befriended the survivor and then sexually assaulted her. The two boys were charged under sections 376 (rape) and 34 (criminal act done with common intent) of the Indian Penal Code. They were also charged with section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. They were sent to the observation centre in Hoshiarpur in Punjab. Read more about the case here.
