First Lady of the United States Melania Trump reportedly wants her husband and outgoing president of the US Donald Trump to concede defeat. The first lady, however, isn't the only person from the household who wants Trump to accept election results. Reportedly, his son-in-law and senior advisor Jared Kushner wants him to do the same.
A report by CNN has suggested that Melania Trump has advised her husband to come to terms with Democrat nominee Joe Biden's victory. "She has offered it, as she often does," a source close to the family told CNN. However, the report further suggests that Trump's sons have encouraged him not to concede defeat yet and to continue challenging the results of presidential race being projected by various news organisations. Latest statistics suggest that Joe Biden and Vice-Presidential elect Kamala Harris have paved their path to White House, with Biden having secured 279 electoral college votes of the total 538.

However, Donal Trump has refused to concede a defeat and is considering legal recourse to challenge the projected result which will out him from the presidential office. Donald Trump has alleged that he was "easily winning" the 2020 election which the Democrats are "stealing" from him. Accusing the Democrats of "large-scale election fraud” and “illegal vote-counting” Trump has filed lawsuits in the states of Georgia, Nevada and Pennsylvania to stop the counting of mail ballots, alleging fraud.
