Meghan Markle wins privacy claim: Meghan Markle just won her privacy claim over a letter she sent her dad.

This was in a case against a tabloid newspaper that had put out a handwritten letter to her estranged father, Thomas Markle.

However, the court has ruled that she will have to go to trial in the case of copyright infringement. The UK High Court Judge said that the copyright issue cannot be resolved without a trial since Markle showed the copy of the letter to an aide.

Next hearing on Markle's case against Mail on Sunday publisher is scheduled for March 2. Since the March 2 hearing will only be a trial, Markle will not have to stand against her father Thomas Markle. Markle's father had earlier said that if the case goes to trial he will side with Mail on Sunday and give evidence for them.

Markle filed a case against ANL, the publisher of Mail on Sunday for publishing five articles which she claimed invaded her privacy. They were about a letter Markle had written to her father.

Markle and her father Thomas Markle share a complicated relationship. Thomas has spoken ill of the duchess in public many times now. He also going to come out with a documentary which is said to feature Megan Markle's unseen footages. read about it here.
