Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Are Expecting A Baby

The announcement comes five months after the royal couple took their vows in a spectacular ceremony at Windsor Castle. Prince Harry, 34, is the grandson of Queen Elizabeth II. Markle, 37, is an American actor.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex just landed in Sydney earlier this morning for their official Australian tour.

Kensington Palace said that there would be “no changes” to the royal tour to Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand following the news. A palace spokesperson said that the Duchess's mother Doria Ragland, who lives in Los Angeles, California, is "very happy about this lovely news". She is said to be "looking forward to welcoming her first grandchild".

Last year, Prince Harry had mentioned how he and Markle intended to have a child soon. “Hopefully we’ll start a family in the near future,” he told ABC News in November 2017 after their engagement.

The couple reportedly shared the news of the pregnancy earlier with the entire Royal family at Princess Eugenie's wedding. The 28-year-old tied the knot three days ago with drinks executive Jack Brooksbank at the same chapel as Harry and Meghan. The news of a new addition to the family definitely added to the royal celebration.

Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.
