Meghan Markle pregnancy: The British Royal Family, reacting to the news of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's second child, said they were "delighted." The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, currently based in California, United States, had announced their second pregnancy on Sunday.
In a statement, a Buckingham Palace spokesperson told PEOPLE, "Her Majesty, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince of Wales and the entire family are 'delighted' and wish them well." It is reported that the British Royal Family was informed in advance of the public announcement.

“We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are overjoyed to be expecting their second child,” a spokesperson for the couple told Insider via email.
The spokesperson of the couple made the public announcement with a stunning black/white photo, remotely via iPad by their friend and longtime photographer, Misan Harriman.
In it, a smiling Harry looks lovingly at Meghan, who cradles her baby bump as she lays in his lap.
Meghan Markle pregnancy comes after a miscarriage
Markle in an article revealed in November last year that she suffered a miscarriage in July 2020. The baby they are expecting would be their second one after Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, who was born on May 6, 2019.
