Meghan Markle Piers Morgan: Meghan Markle has reportedly lodged a complaint with ITV following Piers Morgan’s comments about her mental health.
Morgan walked off stage from his show Good Morning Britain on Tuesday saying “Ok, I’m done with this," following the controversial remarks he made on Markle’s mental health. On Tuesday, 55-year-old Morgan resigned and left his role presenting ITV breakfast show, after five years.
ITV reportedly received over 41,000 complaints regarding his comments on Markle. Reportedly, she then lodged a complain with ITV. According to the Guardian, his departure came after "a formal complaint was lodged with ITV on behalf of the duchess after the broadcast".
“Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain,” the network said in a statement after he quit the popular morning show he hosted.
Hours after the ITV announcement, Morgan, in a tweet, referred to his departure and wrote, "Thinking of my late, great manager John Ferriter tonight. He’d have told me to do exactly the same thing."

Morgan, on Monday said that he was “sickened” by the couple’s interview and did not believe Markle when she said in the tell-all interview that at one point she “didn’t want to be alive anymore.” He also criticised Markle and Harry for dropping a “race bombshell”.
He said, "“If people want to believe Meghan Markle, that’s entirely their right. I don’t believe almost anything that comes out of her mouth and I think the damage she’s done to the British monarchy and to the Queen at a time when Prince Philip is lying in hospital is enormous and frankly contemptible."
