Today, her store, which is just four years old, is the most popular online shop for lingerie and has acquired over five lakh buyers. In an interview with TechStory this year, Kar said that she aims to achieve a turnover of Rs. 1000 crore in the next 4 to 5 years from her company.

Falguni Nayar worked as an investment banker for 19 years before she decided to turn entrepreneur. Her online store, Nyaka.com focuses on beauty and wellness products. In an interview with YourStory.com, Nayar explained that people required assistance and advice when buying beauty products and, that’s where her services come in. She said, “I saw the need for a multi-brand retail format that gives unbiased advice to consumers, being able to guide them on the right products for their beauty and health concerns.”

The owner of HUFT (Heads up for tails), an online shopping pet store, is a self-proclaimed dog lover and the absence of stores offering dog accessories, inspired her to start her own venture. Now seven years old, her online store has an all women-on-board team with a female blog writer, a photographer and a Business development head. Narang also does her bit for the abandoned canine friends; she reveals that she, with her team, helps in finding homes for stray or abandoned pups, sponsor medical treatments etc.
