Sanyal continued, “…Because in the end you can't go talk to the prime minister for every problem. You can't even go talk to the chief minister. But you can talk to your local MLA. And if the person is accessible and honest and doing work, then that is very powerful, right?” she added that the way her party campaigned was very different and positive. Sanyal, who was in Delhi for most of the last four months for campaigning, claims that the Delhi Dialogue and Jan sabhas, were only focused on the people and their issues.
Hoping that the AAP wave will soon reach Mumbai, she said that she understands the process better now and whether she wins or not, she is committed to working for her city.
