Man stoned to death: A 26-year-old man in the Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh was allegedly killed by his former girlfriend, as per reports.
The deceased man identified as Sonu Patel was a resident of Gurji village under Sihora police station limits and had been married on May 14. According to reports, he went missing on May 16. That is when his family filed a missing person's complaint.
When the police started to investigate the case, they were told about a woman named Madhu Patel who had been having an affair with the deceased man. After questioning Patel, police revealed that she allegedly killed Sonu Patel and dumped his body in the Hargadh jungle with the help of her cousins, TOI reported.
According to police statements, Madhu had stoned Sonu to death on May 16. The accused woman claimed that the deceased had threatened to show a private video of her to her family members.
Madhu reportedly wanted to marry Sonu but she already had her marriage arranged. She told police that Sonu had shot an objectionable video of her two months ago and was threatening to reveal it to her family members so that her wedding is cancelled.
