Man Stalks Woman At Mumbai Airport, Arrested

A man has been arrested and detained by the Punjab Police on Friday for reportedly stalking and harassing a woman onboard a private jet at the Mumbai airport.

A man has been arrested and detained by the Punjab Police on Friday for reportedly stalking and harassing a woman onboard a private jet at the Mumbai airport. He was arrested for outraging her modesty.

A 54-year-old woman complained that the accused Rajat Kakkar, a Chandigarh resident was leering at her and continued his lewd behaviour inside a private airline.

Man Stalks Woman 

As per the Indian Express, the woman complainant from Mumbai told police that the suspect stalked and leered at her as she prepared to board a private flight to Chandigarh on Thursday.

The woman also said that the man kept staring at her inside the plane, which bothered her. When she landed at Mohali's Shaheed Bhagat Singh International Airport, the woman filed a complaint at the airport police station.

In response to the complaint, police filed a case against the accused under section 354-D (stalking) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The police are currently investigating the case

In another horrible instance, a stalker attempted to cut the neck of a 30-year-old lady in Hyderabad. Kishore, the defendant, allegedly pursued the woman in Borabanda, confronted her near a bus stop, and argued with her. He carried her down the street, pulled out a knife, and tried to stab her to death as the fight got more intense. People came after hearing the woman's cries of pain, overpowered Kishore, and stopped him from killing the woman. 

As per an exclusive report by The Mirror, a female solo traveller was left horrified after being contacted by an airline staff member on WhatsApp. 

The woman, Hannah Smethhurst was contacted by an airline staff member who found her contact details in their database.

Smethhurstwas informed by the airline that the staff member who checked her in at the airport was the person who contacted her and that he used the airline system to get her phone number. She was assured by the airline that the man had been fired.
