Man in Heels Breaks Guinness World Record:

A Spanish man Christian Roberto Lopez Rodriguez ran a 100 meters sprint in high heels to set a new Guinness World Record. Rodriguez wore 2.76 inches of pencil-heeled stilettoes and finished the sprint in 12.82 seconds.

Rodriguez created a new Guinness World Record to be the "Fastest 100 meters in Heels (male)" breaking the previous record set in 2019 by Germany's Andre Ortolf of 14.02 seconds in heels.

Moreover, Rodriguez was just seconds late the Olympic Gold Medal winner Usain Bolt who created a world record in sprinting. Rodriguez was just 3.2 seconds late to break Bolt's record even after wearing high heels.

While the women's record for the fastest sprinter in high heels was 13.55 seconds by Majken Sichlau in 2022, Rodriguez broke this record to also become the fastest sprinter running in 100 meters wearing heels.

Guinness World Record took to Twitter to announce the new record breaker, Rodriguez and his achievement.

Rodriguez didn't just break the record unknowingly but prepared with full determination for it. When asked about the preparation Rodriguez described his preparation to be exhausting yet specific.

Rodriguez also talked about his inspiration and where he got the idea for the record book telling them about such races in Spain where it has always gone well for him as he found running in heels always challenging.

But this is not the first time Rodriguez has broken a Guinness World Record. 34-year-old Rodriguez is a serial record breaker as he has set some other records achieving the most jumping jacks in an hour and the fastest mile controlling a tennis ball.
