In a shocking incident from the public buses of Delhi Transport Corporation, a male passenger allegedly flashed his private parts at a female passenger. The incident came to light when a video of the incident went viral on social media.

A video of a male passenger of a DTC bus is going viral who allegedly harassed a female passenger onboard and flashed his private parts at her on the bus. The incident happened in outer Delhi and as soon as the Delhi police got to know about the video on January 3, an enquiry was initiated and they reportedly assigned a woman sub-inspector belonging to North Rohini police station to look into the issue. She reportedly contacted the woman shown in the video to gather more information about the incident and take her statement to file a complaint against the accused.

Man Flashes Woman On DTC Bus

The video showed was made by a man who allegedly called himself a marshal deployed in a bus of DTC and he questioned the man who was accused of flashing a female passenger. The female passenger's face was blurred while the accused's face was visible in the video. The man first asked the woman to identify herself and narrate the incident that happened. He then pans the camera towards the accused who is seen crying and pleading in the video and asks him about his identity.

The accused man identified himself as a footwear contractor named Zakir who was from Bihar and worked in Delhi's Vijay Vihar area. Reportedly the alleged DTC marshal also confirmed his identity as Sandeep Chikara in the video and said that he caught the accused passenger upon receiving a complaint from the female passenger. The female passenger lives in Delhi's Mandoli region and allegedly refused to give her statement when she was approached by police officials.

According to the reports, the deputy commissioner of police has said that appropriate legal actions will be taken if the police receive any complaint in future. However, the Rohini police have also confirmed that they did not receive any information from the alleged DTC marshal about the incident nor any passenger was brought to them.
