A widely circulated CCTV video depicts a woman being attacked on a street in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh. The footage reveals a man, who had his hand on the shoulder of a woman wearing a burqa, becoming aggressive and assaulting her.
According to reports, this incident is linked to a recently uncovered sex racket in the area, suggesting that the man assaulted the woman after she declined his advances and refused to accompany him for intimate activities.

The incident came to light on June 20, occurring on the Lucknow-Prayagraj National Highway, when the woman objected to the man's sexual demands. According to media reports, the CCTV footage captured the woman being forcibly taken to a room after she resisted the man's advances.
Raebareli Sex Racket:
These illicit activities were rampant in the hotels located near Didoli village, under the jurisdiction of the Harchandpur police station. The village head of Didoli, Rajkumar Singh, along with the villagers, lodged a complaint about it at the Harchandpur police station. The police took action and started conducting raids on the hotels continuously.
In a recent development, authorities have successfully dismantled a sex racket operating from a hotel in Didoli village, located in Harchandpur, Raebareli.
During a targeted operation conducted late at night, the police raided the Vrindavan hotel and apprehended three women and two men for their involvement in illicit activities. The crackdown on this unethical operation came as a result of diligent investigative efforts by law enforcement agencies. The arrested individuals are suspected of engaging in the trafficking of individuals for sexual exploitation.
There is anger among the villagers regarding these immoral activities. The villagers filed a complaint about these hotels with SP Alok Priyadarshi, urging the immediate closure of these hotels.
