Ghaziabad Man Masturbates At Woman In Hospital Queue, Arrested

Man arrested for masturbation at hospital: A man allegedly masturbated at a woman while standing behind her in a hospital queue. The incident happened in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh as the woman was standing in a queue for medicines. The woman lodged a complaint of molestation against the accused, who was later arrested by the local police.

The 35-year-old man, identified as Arshad, allegedly masturbated at a 40-year-old woman while waiting in a queue for medicines at the MMG district hospital. The public caught him in the act and warned the woman about it. Following this, the woman reported the same to a local police station.

Speaking about the incident, Nipun Agarwal, Superintendent of Police said, “It was an unfortunate incident. The public nabbed the suspect and brought him to the Ghantaghar Kotwali police station. The woman also gave in writing about the incident, and we registered an FIR. We will beef up checks at the hospital, and will also ask the authorities at the hospital to take measures to check such incidents.”

The authorities of the hospital where the incident took place said that they will employ more guards to ensure no such incidents take place in the future. Dr Anurag Bhargawa, chief medical superintendent of the hospital said, “We have come to know about the incident. At present, we have three guards which are deputed at different locations. We will deploy at least one to keep an eye at the queues. However, the queue for women and men are separate at the hospital.”

The man was arrested under IPC Section 354 of molestation.
