Mamata Banerjee discharged from Kolkata hospital where she was seeking treatment following the injuries she suffered in Nandigram during an election campaign on Wednesday. Doctors at SSKM Hospital, Kolkata, where the Trinamool Congress (TMC) chief was admitted, have advised her a week of rest.

Banerjee is in the midst of campaigns for the upcoming assembly elections, which she earlier said, she would partake in on a wheelchair, despite her injuries, if she had to.
