Her inspiring life
Born in New York City Mama Cax at the age of 15 learned she had bone and lung cancer and had a hip replacement after her treatment, according to an interview with Glamour. She debuted at New York Fashion Week in 2018. However, her body rejected the hip and she had her right leg amputated. Cax marketed Olay's sunscreen in 2019. She also walked the runway at the White House. She was also on the cover page of Teen Vogue.

Her real name is Cacsmy Brutus and she held both Bachelor's and Master's degree in International Business. She studied in Rome, New York, France and Tunis. Cax modelled with JAG model agency. In a conversation with New York Times, she said: “I didn’t see body appreciation being shown to people with disabilities or people with scars, so I started sharing my story on Instagram.” She liked sharing her story for women who don't see themselves as beautiful and who don't celebrate their bodies.

How she passed away
On December 16, Cax passed away. Her family delivered this news via her official Instagram page. The statement read, “As a cancer survivor, she had grown accustomed to taking on life’s several challenges head-on and successfully.” “It is with that same grit (fervour) that she fought her last days on earth.” Cax spent the past week in the hospital due to severe abdominal pain and blood clots in her lungs, she was admitted to a hospital. She remained a fighter till the end.
Singer Rihanna also expressed her sadness on hearing the news via a powerful Instagram post. Rihanna called her a queen and a force who brought her strength to savgeXfenty show in 2019.
