Malala Yousafzai has been criticised for wearing skinny jeans and Western-style clothing by trolls online. A picture showed the activist wearing a dupatta, covering her head, with skinny jeans and heels, while she walked around Oxford, where she is currently attending college.
Some of the comments that users posted were really outrageous. They compared her to Lebanese-American porn star Mia Khalifa. One user posted, “how long before the scarf is off too?”
The image has received over 11,000 reactions and 2,000 comments. People called her a foreign agent who won’t be accepted by Pakistan and targeted many other words of hatred towards her.
"Traitor on the make. Why should she be given so much importance in other country. She is been brainwashed against Pakistan and Islam. Her so-called book is full of material against Islam. May Allah save us from our enemies," commented one user.
However, for how many ever trolls, there were also a large number of people who defended her.
Finally, a picture of @Malala where she is just being a normal young woman 💞

A Pakistani Taliban women’s magazine has even targeted Malala for turning people ‘away from Allah’. I ask you how your education can be the right one when it takes a person away from Allah and away from the purpose of our creation,” the article says. “The education you are promoting is producing men and women who are destroying the world.”
Malala has just started at Oxford. and is studying Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE) at Lady Margaret Hall. She comes from the Swat valley, an area in north-west Pakistan. The Taliban shot her when she was just 13-year-old. This was her punishment for voicing her opinion on girls’ education. Since then she has become an icon for women's education, inspiring girls around the world, and has even won the Nobel Peace Prize.
