Women are often wrongly diagnosed or denied maternal healthcare eventually resulting in deaths. Be it Thane woman, Asma Mehendi or Akhila the common thing is negligence at the doctor's hand. ,  as per the latest report of the National Sample Registration System (SRS), data report states Maternal Mortality Ratio(MMR) of India for the period 2016-18  is 113/100,000 live births, declining by 17 points, from 130/ 100,000 live births in 2014-16. Total estimated annual maternal deaths declined from 33800  maternal deaths in 2016 to 26437 deaths in 2018. his is shameful, with all the facilities and developing technology numbers should improve but it is decreasing, one of the possible reason could be the negligence of the doctor.
