Maharashtra Man Murders Ailing Wife: Husband allegedly murdered his wife because he was fed up of her illness and financially exhausted.
A 45-year-old, unemployed man allegedly murdered his wife because of her illness, in Maharashtra's Parbhani district, as reported by a police official on Monday. When he came out of the house with bloodstained clothes, neighbours got suspicious and informed the police.
The wife was suffering from brain tumour for a prolonged period of time. Unable to pay her medical bills, the husband stabbed her with a sharp weapon at their home at Mudgal village. The accused later came out of his home in his bloodstained clothes and threw them nearby. The neighbours reported the incident to the police. The police have reportedly seized the clothes and the accused has been arrested on Sunday, as reported by an official.
The accused said that "he killed his wife after being fed up of her illness and medical treatment", conveyed by Pathari police station's inspector Vasant Chavan.
"A case was registered against the accused under various Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections, including 302 (murder)" said Chavan.
