Second seeded Mahak Jain from Madhya Pradesh made her way to the finals of the second edition of Rendez-Vous a Roland Garros in partnership with Longines. Mahak defeated Akansha Bhan from Gujrat. It was a closely fought battle between the young sensations. The first set was taken by Mahak 7-5, but Akansha Bhan made a strong comeback taking the second set 6-4. It ultimately boiled down to the 3rd set which saw Mahak winning the set with ease. The match finally ended in Mahak’s favour with final scores of 7-5, 6-4, 6-3.

In other Women’s encounter Humera Shaikh from Andhra Pradesh who had ousted the 1st seeded Satwika Sama from quarter finals made her way to the finals in another 3 setter. Humera dropped the first set to Rishika by 2-6, but made a strong comeback by winning the subsequent sets 6-2, 6-3 to win the match. The finals in the women’s category is set for a fitting culmination with the second seeded Mahak Jain from Madhya Pradesh taking on Humera Shaikh from Andhra Pradesh who has been in an incredible form this season.
