The state government decided to establish police stations with women officers to combat the crimes against women. At present, 10 districts in the state already have such police stations. State Home Minister Narottam Mishra during a press conference said, " To curb crime against women, and to ensure registration of the crime and proper investigation into such cases, the Madhya Pradesh government has decided to set up women police stations in the remaining 42 districts of the state also."

The decision was taken in Vidhan Sabha during a state cabinet meeting in the presence of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Narottam Mishra said.
A women police station specialises in atrocities faced by women. There are more female officers to attend the complainants. The percentage of female police officers in India is at a dwindling state but according to reports of 2020, the numbers saw a 16 per cent spike. Among all the states, Bihar has the highest number of female police personnel with 25.3 per cent women officers.

Narottam Mishra also talked about the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana which will be launched in Madhya Pradesh. The scheme will run from 2020-2021 to 2024-2025 and will focus on the sustainability of the fisheries sector in the state. The scheme was launched by the central government last year under the "Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyan".

Mishra said, " Under the scheme, the government will spend Rs 481.66 crore for an integrated development and management of the fisheries sector." Apart from that, the state cabinet meeting also decided to provide milk to children of age group 3-6 years three times a week under its Midday Meal Scheme.
