After practising in Ireland, the Indian boxing team arrived at the Games Village on Sunday night, but Borgohain's personal coach, Sandhya Gurung, was unable to enter because she did not have credentials. Perhaps Borgohain wanted her personal coach, Amey Kolekar, to be there for her during the CWG, but he was not on the long list. The renowned boxer expressed her frustration in a lengthy tweet.

Lovlina Borgohain Alleges Mental Harassment:

Borgohain wrote in her Twitter post, "With a lot of sadness, I want to inform everyone about the ongoing harassment I've been subjected to today. The coaches who assisted me in winning an Olympic medal are frequently sidelined, which has had a significant negative impact on my training schedule."

She shared, "A Dronacharya awardee named Sandhya Gurungji is one of the coaches. In order to get my coaches included in the contingent, I had to beg with my hands folded. Because of this event, I am experiencing mental harassment. My coach, Sandhya Gurung, is currently unable to enter the CWG village and is waiting outside of it. My training regimen has been interfered with only eight days before the beginning of my event. My alternate coach has returned to India."

She claimed that she had received comparable treatment before at the World Championships in Istanbul, and she was concerned that it would occur again at the next Birmingham Games.
Then she added, "How am I supposed to concentrate on the games (CWG) in the midst of all of this?" This also hurt my chances of winning the global title. Politics shouldn't have any impact on my CWG at all. I hope to triumph over politics and bring home a medal for my nation. Jee Hind." Read the post here.

The Indian Olympic Association (IOA) is in charge of the accreditation procedure, according to the Boxing Federation of India (BFI), which expressed hope that the problem would be resolved quickly.

The IOA and BFI are actively working to accredit Sandhya Gurung. IOA has it, but it won't arrive till today or tomorrow. Hemanta Kalita, the BFI secretary, told PTI, "Although we had already given all names, there is a quota system. There is a 25% quota based on the number of athletes that have qualified. We, therefore, have four people, including a coach and a doctor. "
Kalita added, "The IOA increased the allotment to eight as a result of our proposal." They can enter the village during the day and spend the night there, but four will stay inside and four must stay outside."

In the meantime, the Sports Authority of India (SAI) stated that it will work to find a suitable solution.
