She spoke about how she is not free anymore and how she feels that she is always being followed.

“It's legal to follow me. It’s legal to stalk me at the beach. And I can't call the police or ask them to leave. And I took a long, hard look at that property line, and I said, 'Well, if I can't be free out there, I can be free in here,’” she said, pointing to her heart.

She said that she misses people and having random conversations, going up to people and just saying hi. "I love people," she said.

She also spoke about her ended relationship with Taylor Kinney, whom she had been engaged to. She talked about how women ‘love very hard” and said how she feels that that love is not ‘met with the type of dignity that we wish it would be met with”.

Her fans came out in support of her emotional interview:

She also spoke about how the best feeling is knowing that her father, mother and sister are proud of her, and that she hasn't lost touch with who she is.

She isn't the first celebrity who has spoken out about the negative consequences of fame. Adele has also called fame 'toxic' and touring a 'lonely experience'.

What do you think? Does the media go too far in chronicling the lives of its favourite celebrities?
