A Korean blogger who was shooting a video of herself in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur was harassed by a man on Monday. The video shows the woman cheerfully walking on the blue streets of the city when a man wearing a blue t-shirt and black shorts begins stalking her.
A few moments later, the same video shows the man harassing the woman by flashing his private parts. The woman immediately fled from the spot, calling for help, while the man can be seen laughing behind her.
The woman posted the video on social media, which went viral on the internet. The local police took swift action, identified the accused as Deepak, and arrested him immediately.
Korean Blogger Harassed In Rajasthan
Swati Maliwal, Chief of the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW), reacted to the video and expressed strong condemnation towards the act. She stated that it was extremely disgusting and shameful. "People like him are spoiling the image of our great country," said the DCW chief in her tweet. She further urged Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot to take the strongest action possible.

Japanese Woman Harassed In Delhi During Holi
Last month, a video of a Japanese woman being harassed and groped by a group of men on Holi went viral on the Internet. DCW Chief Swati Maliwal issued a notice to the police to examine the video and arrest the perpetrators.
The video shows the men smearing colour on the woman and groping her. One of them even smashes an egg on her head. Before getting away, the woman slaps one of the men. The video was shot in the Paharganj area.
The Japanese woman, who was initially silent, reacted to the video after leaving India. She called it "unfortunate." She revealed that she was "participating in the festival with 35 of her friends. She further said that she has visited India many times and has been fascinated by the country. She ended her tweet by saying that India and Japan will forever be "Tomodachi" (friends).
She also said that she tweeted the video but deleted it shortly as she "was terrified" by the reactions. Three men, including a juvenile, who were involved in the incident were arrested. The accused confessed their crime to the Delhi Police. The woman, however, did not officially file any complaint with the police.

Korean Girls Harassed In UP
Earlier in January of this year, two Korean girls from Delhi who travelled to Uttar Pradesh to meet a friend at Chaudhary Charan Singh University in Meerut were harassed by a group of Hindu supremacist students. Reportedly, a group of right-wing students accused the girls of being Christian missionaries who had come to convert them. The group surrounded the two girls and chanted "Jai Shri Ram" slogans.
After the video of the incident spread on the internet, Meerut police arrived at the scene and rescued the girls. The police also denied the conversion allegation against the girls.
Korean Youtuber Molested In Delhi
In December 2022, a South Korean Youtuber was harassed by a few men on the streets of Mumbai. The blogger was live streaming, and the entire incident was recorded. The video of the incident went viral on social media.
The video showed the woman walking in suburban Khar when a man is seen coming close and trying to hold her despite her resistance. Another man can be heard asking her age. A few moments later, a couple of men appeared on a bike and offered the woman a lift, which she refused.
The Mumbai police launched a search for the accused and arrested them. The accused were identified as Mobeen Chand Mohammad Shaikh and Mohammad Naqeeb Sadrealam Ansari. The woman praised the Mumbai police for their swift action. A few days later, the accused were granted bail. Hyojeong Park, the YouTuber, who is known by her username Mhyochi, tweeted that she was scared to go LIVE.
