Are Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Getting A Divorce?

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West could soon get divorced after living separately for months. Sources close to Kardashian and West, who began dating in the year 2012 and later married in 2014, say that they are reportedly going through a rough patch after West's controversial presidential campaign and struggles with mental health issues.

As per reports, multiple sources have confirmed that a “divorce is imminent,” and that Kardashian has hired noted divorce attorney Laura Wasser to represent her. Wasser has previously represented Angelina Jolie, Heidi Klum, and Kardashian herself, during her 2011 divorce from Kris Humphries.

"He knows that she’s done. She has had enough, and she told him that she wants some space to figure out her future," a source told People magazine, adding that while West knows about the filing, but has no idea when it will take place.

During his presidential campaign last year, Kanye West sent out a series of tweets divulging personal details about his marriage in September. He was also in news for his struggle with bipolar disorder. In July 2020 Kim Kardashian urged the media and the public to show “compassion and empathy” regarding the rapper’s recent erratic behaviour. Now a source claimed that Kim Kardashian finds herself in a very "difficult" and "discouraging" situation with West. “It’s the same thing over and over and over again. He’s on very thin ice with her right now, and she’s truly trying to decide what to do to protect the kids, but also her own sanity.”
