28-year-old Santhi Sathyan from Kadakkal in Kerala has startled everyone with her brilliant memorizing prowess. She has created a Guinness world record for memorising the longest sequence of 45 objects in one minute. With this, she has also become the only Kerala citizen to win the title.
People behind her success
R.S Anith Zoorya, her husband, who is an IT professional and a psychology counsellor, helped her with the training. Santhi is herself a sociology graduate. She is also a second-year psychology student and preparing to bag more memory championships. The couple have a three-year-old daughter, Yiaamee Anith Zoorya.

Preparation
Santhi Sathyan had been practising to create the record for the last two-and-a-half years.
"I started practising the technique of memorising things seven years back. My husband identified my capability and taught me how to retrieve the objects I memorised," Santhi told Deccan Chronicle.
The method
Santhi Sathyan uses the method of visualising the objects given to her for memorising.

"I took a different approach by converting all objects to visuals, which is the fastest method to recollect, rather than connecting and arranging objects which is usually practised," she said.
