Kerala School Boy Arrested For Attempting Rape On Female College Student
The official said that the accused minor had allegedly grabbed the woman when she was on her way to college near Kondotty and dragged her to a paddy field nearby in an attempt to rape her.
Kerala College Student Molested: A college student in Kerala's Malappuram area was allegedly molested by a 15-year-old schoolboy, the police said. The minor has been taken into custody.

As per reports, the alleged incident took place in the Kondotty area in the district on Monday, Malappuram Superintendent of Police Sujith Das said. The official said that the accused minor had allegedly grabbed the woman when she was on her way to college near Kondotty and dragged her to a paddy field nearby in an attempt to rape her.
The survivor alleged that the boy attacked her after following her and sexually assaulted her. As per reports, when the girl tried to resist, the accused hit her with a stone and tied her arms. She managed to escape and took shelter in a nearby house, as per the complaint filed with the police.
According to media reports, the woman in the nearby house where the girl took shelter said that she had multiple injuries on her face and her hands were tied. She didn't have much of her clothes and was scared. The woman added that the survivor was then taken to Kozhikode Medical College.
Acting on the survivor's complaint the police launched an investigation into the matter and called the schoolboy for questioning. The accused allegedly confessed to the crime. He had also suffered injuries while attempting rape on the survivor and when his parents asked about what caused it, he said that he was bitten by a dog. The accused boy had no other criminal record in his name, the police said.
The accused was identified by the survivor and the police nabbed him as he had left his slippers while fleeing the spot of the crime. The survivor was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday. The police had lodged an FIR against the accused for attempted rape and murder.
