Tamil and Telugu film actor Anandhi, known for playing the lead in Kayal (2014) tied the knot with assistant director Socrates in a low key wedding last night. The ceremony took place in Warangal and was attended by close friends and family of the couple. Anandhi made her film debut with filmmaker Maruthi Dasari's 2012 Telugu film Bus Stop.

The news about Anandhi's nuptials was shared on social media actor and producer JSK Satish Kumar.

Apart from playing the titular role in Kayal, Anandhi, whose real name is Rakshita, was also seen in the critically acclaimed 2018 film Pariyerum Perumal. This Tamil film was directed by Mari Selvaraj and produced by Pa Ranjith, and featured Kathir alongside Anandhi in the lead.
Anandhi's groom Socrates is the brother-in-law of film director Naveen, and has co-directed Agni Siragugal starring Arun Vijay and Bijay Antony.

According to Pinkvilla, the alliance was arranged by the actor's parents and the wedding ceremony was kept low-key due to COVID-19 pandemic. There is no official update from the actor regarding her nuptials as of yet.
