Kanpur Woman Accuses Husband Of Rape
According to a report, the woman met Kumar on a train journey that was followed by multiple meetings and the duo started dating each other. They married each other in a hurry at a temple two years ago.
After wedding, the woman realised that Kumar was an abuser as he allegedly assaulted her and was involved in domestic violence on a regular basis for months.
The woman added in her complaint that the brother and brother-in-law of the accused were also involved in the alleged abortion case. She alleged that Kumar fled Kanpur without informing her and is still missing.
Reportedly, the woman got information about Kumar planning to marry another woman in Gaya, Bihar. She then approached the police for help, and a team was sent to his residence in Gaya’s Manjhaar village. He wasn’t found even there, as per reports.
According to the woman, Kumar's brother allegedly threatened the women of rape following the police complaint. Senior superintendent Aditya Kumar stated that the complaint filed by the woman is being given the topmost priority, adding that the police are trying their best to catch hold of the accused on run.
