Kangana Ranaut has once again kindled sentiments on social media about the ongoing farmer protests. She called the protests 'politically motivated' and wishes to know why she is always compelled to prove her stance. Ranaut also demanded to know why people don't question the intentions of Diljit Dosanjh and Priyanka Chopra supporting the protest.
Kangana Ranaut Talks about Farmer Protests, Criticises Shaheen Bagh Dadi
Kangana shared a video on Instagram where she spoke about the farmer protests, the online threats she received and more. She noted that she was obligated to speak up after the 'true nature of the protests was revealed.' Kangana also spoke about the Punjabis who don't want 'Khalistan', and wish to be a part of India itself. She criticised the Shaheen Bagh Dadi for protesting against the citizenship law and called her illiterate. Ranaut didn't even spare the old woman from Punjab and accused her of throwing abuses at her.
"Like the Shaheen Bagh dadi couldn’t read but was protesting to save her citizenship, the dadi from Punjab has been hurling abuses at me and trying to save her land from the government, what is happening in this country? Friends, how do we allow ourselves to be so vulnerable before these terrorists and foreign powers?"
Ranaut ended her speech by criticising people for not questioning Diljit Dosanjh and Priyanka Chopra's intentions.
