Kamala Harris Stepdaughter Ella Emhoff: Emhoff, who is a signed model and stepdaughter of US Vice President Kamala Harris, graduated with a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from Parsons College of Design on May 14.
Celebrating the occasion, Kamala Harris took to Twitter and congratulated Emhoff on her achievement. She wrote, "Congratulations to our daughter Ella on her graduation. I am so proud of you. Keep dreaming with ambition and there is nothing you cannot achieve."
Harris signed her message to Emhoff with "Love, Momala". According to Ella Emhoff's interview, Momala is what she calls Harris.
Emhoff was born to Dough Emhoff and his ex-wife, she also has an older brother named Cole. She has opened up about being brought up by not just two but three parents, as Harris was married to Doug Emhoff, and expressed gratitude towards them. According to Ella Emhoff, her birth mother, Doug and Kamala Harris have good communication among themselves.
"They are really a unit, as a three-person parenting squad. It’s really cool," she said.
Her father Doug also expressed his delight over her graduation. He wrote, "My darling Ella, we are such proud parents!" he wrote.
"We love you so much, and are very much looking forward to all you do in the future."
Earlier this year, Ella Emhoff made news when she got signed by IMG, a global modelling agency company. She is now among well-known faces of the industry such as Gigi Hadid. Her passion for fashion designing is also on display on her social media accounts where she shares pictures of clothes she makes. Recently, she made a knitted material for her college assignment and promised her followers to continue the knitted work in her upcoming collection.
Not only apparel designing, but Emhoff also has an interest in painting. Apparently, she painted a picture of her dog which she shared with her followers on Instagram.
Emhoff's eye for fashion found its place in media when she showed for Kamala Harris inauguration ceremony in a Miu Miu outfit. Fashion experts called it an extension of her Gen-Z personality.
