Mukesh Khanna sister dies: Days after recovering from COVID-19, television actor Mukesh Khanna's older sister Kamal Kapoor passed away Wednesday in Delhi of lung disease. Khanna shared the news on Facebook last evening, paying an "emotional tribute" to her.
"I don't know what the God is doing. Literally the first time in my life I've been shaken," the 62-year-old wrote.
Earlier this week, Khanna had taken to social media to dismiss rumours of his own death. "I am here to inform you all that I am perfectly alright. I am very well. I am here to refute the rumours... I also wish to condemn those who spread such rumours. This is a problem with social media," he said in a video on Instagram.
A day after he dismissed the death hoax, his sister unfortunately passed away.
"Yesterday, I struggled to tell the truth about the false news of my death. But I didn't know that a fierce truth was hovering over me," he said in his social media post.
