Popular K-Pop Singer Haesoo Dies By Suicide: Leaves Note Behind

K-Pop Singer Haesoo was recently found dead in her hotel room. She was 29. The South Korean police recovered a suicide note in the room. The popular singer's death was made public after a South Korean media outlet revealed the news.

Haesoo had an event scheduled and when she didn't show up for the concert, organisers called her numerous times and learned about the mishap. Haesoo was born in 1993. She made her stage debut in 2019 and gained massive popularity since then.

Haesoo Dies By Suicide

On May 20, the vocalist of the famous Korean music style known as trot was expected to take the stage at the Gwanjumyeon People's Day celebration in Wanju Gun, Jeollabuk-do. As of now, no particular reason provided for why she reportedly ended her life. The Police are currently investigating the reason that could have led the young singer to end her life.

Her stage debut proved to be a huge success after she performed her album My Life, Me. She became well-known following singing performances at the Gayo Stage, Hangout With Yoo, and The Trot Show, where she captivated the audience.

Haesoo's social media seemed active even on the day she died by suicide. Through her social media, she kept in regular contact with her admirers. It is the second death that stunned K-pop fans. Former Astro member Moonbin was also discovered deceased at his flat earlier this year. Fans from all around the world lamented the teenage K-pop star's death.

Followers shattered by the news

One of her followers wrote about the significance of mental wellness and mentioned, " Sadly, this is happening more frequently now. These days, there is a big pandemic in mental health. It is quite depressing. Haesoo, rest in peace. I hope you may now find greater serenity. We send our condolences to the family, friends, and supporters during this incredibly distressing and tragic time."

Other online followers lamented the young singer's passing and remarked, "My condolences to the family and everyone else affected by this," one of the followers remarked. I wish Haesoo could finally rest in peace."
