Bollywood actor, Juhi Chawla who is also an environmental activist, expressed concerns over the implementation of 5G technology in India. In a statement, the actor said she is not “against the implementation of technological advancements,” but added that while using wireless devices one is “in a constant dilemma” about “RF radiation from wire-free gadgets and network cell towers”.

Here's what we know about the Juhi Chawla 5G case:
- Juhi Chawla had moved the Delhi High Court, regarding the safety of the 5th generation of wireless network.
- Juhi Chawla said that if the 5G plans are implemented, no animal, bird, or human being, would be able to avoid the exposure to the radiation, for all days of the year, for 24 hours.
- The lawsuit also urged for research to be conducted, on the 5G wireless network. It also urged the "arrayed defendants" to certify this technology as safe for human beings, and every type of living organism, and produce studies, regarding the same.
- On May 31, the Bench of Justice C Harishankar recused to hear the matter and transferred it to another bench of the Delhi High Court.
- The hearing of the Juhi Chawla 5G case took place on June 2.
- However, the virtual hearing of the case was interrupted by a man, who started singing Ghoonghat Ki Aad Se, from Juhi Chawla's 1993 film, Hum Hain Rahi Pyar Ke.
- He then left the meeting the meeting, rejoined, and started singing Lal Lal Honthon Pe from the actor's 1995 film, Naajayaz. He joined for a third time, to sing Meri Banno Ki Aayegi Baraat from her 1993 film, Aaina.
- The meeting then resumed properly, after the man was forcibly removed from the hearing. Meanwhile, the court has now taken the matter seriously, and asked the police to search for thd person, and take action against him.
- The actor had earlier announced that she would be appearing for the hearing, and shared the link for people to join the session.
