Game of Thrones actor Sophie Turner and singer Joe Jonas recently became parents to a healthy baby girl. They have welcomed their first child and named her Willa, revealed an official statement. The baby was born in a Los Angeles hospital on July 22.
"Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are delighted to announce the birth of their baby," the statement read.
A source close to the couple said, "The couple is already obsessed and can't stop gloating about their new addition," Entertainment Tonight reported. And added, "The couple is taking time to enjoy this special moment and have only shared the news and updates with family and friends."
Talking about having a baby in mid of a pandemic, the source revealed, "With the pandemic, Joe and Sophie have been very cautious about who is around them and their little girl."

The England-born actor got engaged to her long-time boyfriend Joe, the Arizona-born musician, in October 2017. Their wedding vows at an impromptu ceremony in Las Vegas took over social media, which was officiated by an Elvis Presley impersonator. ENews had confirmed the news that the couple got hitched in an intimate wedding ceremony. They later hosted an official wedding ceremony in France.
When the news about her pregnancy came out in February, Just Jared reported, “The couple is keeping things very hush-hush but their friends and family are super excited for them.”
On asking about the relationship, Sophie, who is best known for her role as Sansa Stark in GoT, had earlier said, “You do feel like you’re living in a fishbowl.”

“I’m happier than I’ve been in a very long time,” she said in another video. “I very much isolated myself for a while and forgot what was fun. Going out with friends, going out to eat, not really having a care. And people I’ve met recently in my life have drawn me out of that. It really helps you own those insecurities. The things I tortured myself about before, I can forget about.”
“A lot of is to do with being with a person I’ve fallen in love with, who loves me more than he loves himself, and who wants to see me find my own happiness,” she told Glamour U.K. “That was probably the biggest thing that pushed me to find who I am — and find my happiness in things other than acting.”
She was last seen in the film X Men: Dark Phoenix. Joe Jonas is a part of the popular band Jonas Brothers, which also includes his brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas.
