Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt shared screen space for a fundraiser virtual table read of 1982 classic comedy Fast Times At Ridgemont High. The reading, held on Thursday was organised by comedian Dane Cook's "Feeling A-Live", a fundraising campaign for COVID-19 relief and criminal justice reform. Hosted on the official Facebook page of CRORE (Community Organized Relief Effort), the one-hour Zoom session brought together Hollywood actors who played different roles and read out the scenes in the movie.
The event hosted Jimmy Kimmel, John Legend, Julia Roberts, Shia LaBeouf, Morgan Freeman, Henry Golding, Jennifer Aniston, Brad Pitt and Ray Liotta among others. While Morgan Freeman narrated the movie scenes, it was the reunion of Hollywood’s once most popular couple, Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston that caught the internet's attention. The two reunited on a TV screen after almost 19 years of sharing the screen together. Last time the duo were seen together on screen was in 2001 when Pitt made a guest appearance in Aniston’s show F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

In the virtual table read Aniston played the role of high school 'sex queen' Linda Barrett while Pitt was in the character of Brad Hamilton who fantasises about Barrett. The scene they read out together was one of the most passionate and notorious sequences of the teen-romance drama. It was daydream scene in which Brad Hamilton is in a bathroom fantasising over being seduced by Linda. As Morgan narrated it, Aniston playing Linda said, “Hi Brad” while Pitt who played Brad Hamilton could not stop blushing and smiling throughout. "You know how cute I always thought you were. I think you're so sexy. Will you come to me?" Aniston read further while keeping her eyes hooked to the script and barely looking into the screen.
The Twitter users were so delighted to see the two exes together on a single screen that one of the users tweeted, “Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston are singlehandedly saving 2020 for me.”

Not only social media but the co-stars present at the virtual table read session could not stop smiling and admiring at Aniston and Brad reciting a scene together. Julia Roberts, who read the part of Brad's younger sister Stacy Hamilton, smiled, with her hands-on chin, during Brad and Aniston’s scene, and her reaction has gone viral. The Twitterati said that Roberts’ reaction reflected the feelings of all the fans after watching the much-awaited reunion.
Earlier this year at the SAG award, Pitt reportedly waited backstage to watch Aniston’s acceptance speech. She was awarded Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series category for The Morning Show. Their interaction has fuelled rumours of a reunion, but the Pitt and Aniston have not made any comments on the same.
