Jammu Kashmir Doctors Cross River: Healthcare workers in India are leaving no stone unturned to vaccinate as many people as possible amidst the global pandemic. A video going viral on social media shows a few doctors in Jammu and Kashmir crossing a river to vaccinate people in a remote village is testimony to this fact.
Tralla is a remote village in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir. Accessibility to vaccines was a challenging issue thwarting people from getting their jab. A few doctors took up the gauntlet of organising a vaccination drive for them and crossed the river with a strong current to reach there.

Dr Yasmin, one of the doctors told ANI that the door to door vaccination of people is a challenging task but the health workers are fulfilling their duties even if it requires them to cross rivers or mountains.
Netizens took to Twitter to praise these corona warriors. Some also questioned why authorities couldn't construct proper roads to make it easier for doctors to travel.

Organising vaccination drives in villages across the country is a big challenge but there are some villages where the whole population has been vaccinated. Banmara and Jins Jara Kani, two villages on Jharkhand's border shared with Chhattisgarh have been vaccinated fully against COVID-19.
Jharkhand government notified that 100% vaccination has been achieved for the adults in the village barring 18 pregnant women and some people who are not fit for the vaccine due to other medical reasons.
Besides that, Bhikhi village of Punjab became the first village to vaccinate all individuals eligible for the first dose. Three villages Sind Gavhan, Purushottamnagar and Sagali in the Nandurbar district of Maharashtra are in limelight for achieving 100 per cent immunisation of the 45-plus age group.
