ISSF World Cup 2021: India's all-female team of Chinki Yadav, Rahi Sarnobat, Manu Bhaker shined at the ISSF world cup which was conducted in New Delhi. The trio won a gold medal at the women’s 25m pistol event.

The Indian team were able to bag 17 points which led them to win against Poland's team. The latter consisted of shooters Joanna Iwona Wawrzonowska, Julita Borek and Agnieszka Korejwo who won only 7 points at the Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range.
The gold medal for the Indian team comes a day after Chinki Yadav, Rahi Sarnobat and Manu Bhaker won big in the individual challenges. Their victory as a team has now made India a top contender with 21 medals, including 10 gold, six silver and five bronze.
Another Indian team won the silver medal at the ISSF shooting world cup
Earlier in the day, Indian shooters Anjum Moudgil, Shreya Saksena and Gaayathri Nithyanadam won the silver medal in the 50m rifle 3 positions team event. They scored 43, and were just behind their Polish opponents who scored 47.
The bronze medal was claimed by the Indonesian team comprising of Vidya Rafika Rahmatan Toyyiba, Monica Daryanti and Audrey Zahra Dhiyaanisa, who defeated the Hungarian trio Lalita Gaspar, Eszter Denes and Lea Horvath 47-43.
On March 23, India’s Ganemat Sekhon and Angad Vir Singh Bajwa won the gold medal at the ISSF shooting world cup in the 'Skeet Mixed Team' event. They defeated the Kazakhstan pair which comprised of Alexandr Yechsenko and Olga Panarina with a final score of 33-29.
The ISSF world cup is a prestigious event which was introduced by the International Shooting Sport Federation. This world cup provides a platform for shooters to qualify for the Olympics. It was first started in 1986, and conducts four competitions per year in each event. Most popular locations for the world cup are Fort Benning, Seoul, Sydney, New Delhi, Lonato, and Nicosia.
