A 27-year-old Israeli woman was killed “execution style” as she attempted to feign death in the hope of being spared by Hamas gunmen who invaded a trance music festival near the border with the Gaza Strip and massacred scores of partygoers on Saturday.

According to the reports by The New York Post, Ma'ayan Adam, a 36-year-old television personality, shared a deeply saddening message on Instagram, revealing the passing of her 27-year-old sister, Mapal Adam. According to Ma'ayan's account, Mapal Adam lost her life while in the company of her boyfriend, who also sustained gunshot wounds to his back.

Sharing what her sister went through, Ma'ayan said, "Mapal hid under the truck and pretended to be dead. She waited. For hours. And didn't move at all. But the terrorists killed her nonetheless."

"Maple's boyfriend suffered gunshots in the back. He kept lying next to her as she died in his arms."

Ma'ayan expressed in her message that the family was profoundly devastated, enduring a level of agony she had never experienced before. 

Mapal Adam was among the many young Israelis who attended the Tribe of Nova trance music festival near Reim, a kibbutz situated just a short distance from the Gaza Strip border fence. Ma'ayan is known for her appearances on Israel's rendition of Dancing With The Stars and as the host of a news program on a prominent TV channel in the country. 

According to eyewitness accounts reported by media outlets, Hamas gunmen took control of the concert area in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Hamas' Attack On Israel

The music festival attended by Adam was reportedly one of the initial targets chosen by Hamas terrorists. The current situation is causing significant concern, and there is a strong need for additional information.

The initial attack involved a substantial barrage of 5,000 rockets launched by the Hamas organization towards Israel which resulted in over 260 deaths at the location of the festival. There have also been reports of foreign citizens being detained, including seven Nepali individuals who were injured in Israel, and 17 who have been taken into custody.

The ongoing conflict has led to an estimated 800 casualties in both Israel and Palestine.
