In a matrimonial advertisement published in a newspaper recently, a woman, who is a social media influencer, listed the qualities she is looking for in her potential groom. Her ad, which also states she wants a "reel partner" has now gone viral on the internet, with social media users giving mixed reactions.
A clipping of the newspaper that read "Social media influencer looking for a groom" displays expectations listed by a girl who is looking for a real and reel life partner. The ad has left the Internet in splits.
The Matrimonial Ad
A social media influencer named Riya in her matrimonial ad mentioned looking for not just a regular groom but a "reel partner = groom" who shouldn't be camera-shy and must be willing to create relationship reels with her. The ad stated that the groom must also know about content creation and trending music like "MOI-MOI."
The influencer further put forward her demands that the candidate applying to be her groom should not have a joint family and must watch Amazon's Mini TV series Half Love Half Arranged to have knowledge of the
"types of guys she doesn't like."
She also added that the candidate must know how to use/edit Premiere Pro (a video-editing software) to edit her reels.

Similar incident
This is not the only incident of estranged matrimonial ads as another 30-year-old woman's matrimonial ad has earlier surfaced viral on the discussion platform, Reddit, a year ago.
The estranged ad of the woman looking for a groom seemed like a regular ad unless it stunned everyone with its demand for a groom who is not a "farter/burper."
The woman also held some high expectations from the man as she expected him to have an established business by the age of 25-28 and also own at least 20 acres of farmhouse.
The name of the woman could not be identified as the email read "curbyourpatriarcy"
