Not many of us keep a track of snooker, but India's Vidya Pillai participated in the World Women Snooker Championship in Singapore and even returned home with a silver. She gave a stellar performance at the international arena and we are so proud of her!
After spending days competing with world champions, on Sunday, Vidya reached the final. Her hard-fought match led her to win a silver, losing the gold by a whisker. In the final match, she was leading with 4-2, but unfortunately due to some errors, Hong Kong's best bet and former World Champion, Ng On Yee, took the lead in the game. Yee also won the next three frames in a row to take a 5-4 lead. Without being diverted from the game, Vidya won another frame to set the decider.

With 67 remaining on board, Vidya’s comeback was accurate but she lost the match by four points. The final score on board was 54-50 with Ng On Yee in lead.
