The Indian women’s kabaddi team defeated Kenya by 30 points in the circle style Kabaddi World Cup with contrasting wins at Sarabha village today. The Indian team won with a score of 45-15 against the Kenyan team.
Indian has been a four-time winner in the world cup and Kenyans had a bleak chance against them. Indian players Meena and Harvinder Kaur were the high scorers and took six points each while Karmi led five points in the match.
The Indian women’s team shone but the men’s team struggled against Sierra Leone. However, they still won the match with a 48-36 scoreline. Raiders Sultan, Jashanpreet Singh Raju and Manjot Singh Gill scored the highest with 9 points each.
