Gitanjali Rao, an Indian-American teenager has been chosen as TIME’s first-ever Kid of the Year for her work which includes using technology to handle issues like opioid addiction, cyberbullying, and more. This 15-year-old girl is from Colorado, US. She was selected among 5,000 nominees and was personally interviewed by Academy award-winning Hollywood actor Angelina Jolie.
