Shaili Chopra, founder, SheThePeople, kickstarted the initiative talking of what motivated her to set up Digital Women Awards and what it aspires to achieve with every passing year: "We've had a tremendous run of connecting with a large number of women entrepreneurs across India, and the kind of concepts they are coming up with every single day and then turning them into the reality of business, finding ways to do more with their ideas beyond hobbies, to turn solopreneurs, use opportunities."
