India's G20 Nari Shakti Model has been walking the talk before its proposal. India's Presidency this G20 strives to display policies and devices being implemented for women’s economic empowerment. This will be done so that such a model may be implemented by all other G20 Nations.

What Does India G20 Nari Shakti Model Propose?
India's G20 Nari Shakti Model promises to find women business leaders with soft loans. Its goal is to encourage women's education in streams such as Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM Subjects). This model also proposes to place focus on women at the grassroots level. This not only has a resounding impact on the economy of India but also reduces gender inequality in G20 nations. India’s Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) allows women to accomplish their business aspirations.
India's Metrics on the Development Of Women So Far
According to the Centre for Global Development, India has formulated policies that have helped bridge the gender inequality gap to a certain extent and have led to women's development.
Over 107,000 women have received funding from the Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) for their entrepreneurial ventures from 2016 to 2021. The government of India also made targeted obtainment from women business leaders mandatory.
The Indian legislation has one-third of seats for gram panchayat women, municipal corporations, panchayat samiti, municipalities, and municipal corporations. 21 states in India ensure that there is at least 50 percent representation by women at the legislative level.
Women's performance in the financial sectors in India has been improving. The representation of women stands at 31 percent in the finance and banking sectors. The Media sector in India is represented by 30 percent of women. Consulting sectors see 45 percent of representation by women and up to 36 percent in IT sectors.
Over 20 percent of women are involved in micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME), and the numbers are expected to rise to 12 million.
India's agribusiness today sees more participation by women than other G20 nations.
490,000 artisans from the Khadi Village Industries are women.
India is making policy initiatives in the direction of women-led development from women's development. It is these very policies and more than India will be setting an example of to the G20 Nations.
