In yet another shocking incident, an 11-year-old girl was allegedly raped twice by her father in Talana village in Jamnagar district of Gujarat. The incident took place when the girl’s mother had gone to her native place in Madhya Pradesh. In her absence, the accused, who is a migrant labourer, allegedly sexually assaulted the girl twice on November 1-2. After learning about the incident the girl’s mother complained to the Jodia police station.

R M Vala, sub-inspector with Jodia police said, “After the crime, the girl sank into depression and stopped talking to her family member. Upon her return when her mother asked her as to what had happened, she complained of stomach ache and confided her sordid tale to her. Following which the girl’s mother complained to her husband,” reported TOI.
The police have arrested the accused who is from Alirajpur in Madhya Pradesh. Medical examination of the survivor was conducted at GG Hospital in Jamnagar, where the examination of the accused will also take place.
