I'm Always There For My Kids, Says Saif Ali Khan On Sara's Drug Probe

Saif Ali Khan finally broke his silence over his daughter Sara Ali Khan's alleged involvement in the drug row, for which the investigations are being carried out by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). As per the grapevine, when Sara was summoned for questioning by NCB in relation to the drug probe related to the death of 34-year-old actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Saif had reportedly refused to help her. Reacting to these claims, Saif spoke about his children in a recent interview. He said, "I am always there for them. I love and adore all my three children."

Saif was with wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and son Taimur in Delhi at the time Sara was questioned by the NCB on September 26. Reports were rife that he was trying to maintain his distance from the case. Talking to Bollywood Hungama, Saif confessed it's true that he spends most of his time with his youngest son Taimur but all his three kids - Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan and Taimur Ali Khan - are equally important to him and he makes a point to be with Sara and Ibrahim too.

"It’s true that I spend a lot of time with Taimur. But I am constantly connected with my elder son Ibrahim and my daughter Sara," the actor stated. "All my three children have different places in my heart. If I am hurt with Sara about something, Taimur can’t make me feel better about it. Every time you have a child you divide your heart. And they are all different in age. I feel each of my three children requires a different kind of connect. I could have long chat on the phone or have dinner with Sara or Ibrahim which I can’t do with Taimur," Saif explained. He is currently expecting his fourth child, and second with Kareena.

How Sara is involved in the drug row

According to the NCB, the drug-probe has exposed a new angle in connection with actor Rajput’s death. The investigation has revealed the names of A-list celebrities and they have been asked to “join the probe”. Sara, who starred with Rajput in Kedarnath,  reportedly told the officials that the actor cheated on her during the short relationship that they shared. According to the report, NCB sources say that Sara and Rajput broke up in 2019. However, she denied using drugs.

Saif and Rajput collaborated in the latter's last movie Dil Bechara.
