Making it desi, the artists added a moustache to the art. This viral sensation's laid-back style and calm demeanour make it a fan favourite. 

This viral sensation is the brainchild of Philip Banks who lately has patented Chill Guy and requests licensing before replicating Chill Guy for any commercial purpose.

Netizens React To 'The Chill Guy' Mural

The 'Chill Guy' mural features a brown dog sporting a grey sweater, rolled-up blue jeans, and red sneakers. Its paws are nonchalantly tucked into its pockets and with a faint smirk on its face with a moustache, it radiates an air of coolness.

While this meme is celebrated online for its chill vibes, many social media users gave mixed reactions to the wall mural replica. Some netizens felt this version has a judging attitude, "He is not chilling, he is judging."

 While some netizens commented on the desi version, "That moustache lmao That's very like the Indian version of chill guy" and "That's bad, Giving uncle vibes."

Some users also joked on the final look, "But he doesn't look chilled."

Philip Banks, the presumed creator of the ‘Chill Guy’ meme, posted the Chill Guy for the very first time on October 4th, 2023. He captioned it with a note as savage as the chill guy himself. 

Philip himself had replicated many versions of the 'Chill Guy.' Fans have seen Chill Guy participating in podcasts, his picture with his family as an infant, some drawings depicting a funny comic scenario, and finally the famous wall mural in Bengaluru.
