In the ongoing Women’s World Cup Qualifier at the P Sara Oval in Colombo on Tuesday, team India by far remains to be the only unbeaten squad in the tournament and the first team to be qualified for the finals.
Having opted to bat first, South Africa got off to a powerful start. A hard 244-run target wasn’t easy to score for team India, but at the end, Harmanpreet saved the day in Dhoni style and smartly hit a six. However, India’s fielding wasn’t up to the mark this time. A brilliant display of batswomenship by Harmanpreet and Rajeshwari Gayakwad in an unbeaten stand in the last minute guided the team to chase a target.
