Her inspiration behind pursuing UPSC

Pari attributed her inspiration to her mother, a member of the Rajasthan Police, whose impactful work inspired her to attempt public service examination. She said, "My mother is in Rajasthan police. I have grown up seeing her work. At that small level also, she was able to bring so much change. She was one of the first woman officers in a lot of police stations."

Pari Bishnoi's monk-like lifestyle during the preparation

Bishnoi's determination to clear UPSC saw her adopt to rigorous preparation. We all know how difficult it is to even think of clearing UPSC. But Bishnoi not only thought about it but sacrificed everything to pursue it. She adopted a monk-like lifestyle throughout her preparation days. How?

Bishnoi's mother told the media that Pari Pishnoi had deleted all her social media accounts. She even refused to use her mobile phone. In the age when mobile and social media have become necessities, vowing to not use them is indeed an extraordinary monk-like commitment.

But it was this discipline combined with determination and dedication that gained Pari Bishnoi the biggest milestone of her life.
